We must invest in universal healthcare to bring costs under control and to guarantee access to all people. The US already spends more and has worse outcomes compared to similar countries.  It is time we put our people over the profits of Big Pharma.

Since Reaganomics introduced "Trickle Down Economics" in the 80s, the middle class has nearly disappeared along with unions and pensions.  It is time we fight back and regain our fair share of the economic value we create.   

As a society, we must take care of those who have the least. No one should sleep on the streets or go hungry in a country with food waste and tons of vacant houses.  We must not accept poverty as a norm, but instead guarantee food and shelter. 

It's time we normalize mental healthcare and invest in a nationwide infrastructure to care for the mentally incompetent.

Society has no place for hatred, racism, bigotry, or discrimination of any kind.  We must all work together to build a more inclusive and compassionate society.

As the industrial revolution propelled our civilization, it has wreaked havoc on our planets ecosystem.  We can not allow corporations to poison and ravage the planet.

The shameful overturning of Roe v Wade has allowed extremists across state legislators to strip women of their fundamental human right to bodily autonomy.  We must codify abortion access in the constitution.

All people regardless of gender or sexual orientation deserve to live life happy and the way they choose.  We can not allow Republicans to restrict free speech or access to healthcare.

A democracy thrives when more people are involved and participate in elections.  We must ensure this sacred act is protected from dubious methods of suppression and manipulation.

An educated electorate is vital to any democracy.  By providing access to education to all, we will allow people to climb the economic ladder more easily and solve larger societal problems.

Citizen's United has been the most disastrous decision by the Supreme Court this century.  By allowing corporations and dark money interest to funnel unlimited donations to political campaigns we effectively legalized bribery of our elected officials. 

The unfathomable carnage from domestic terrorists mass shootings has to stop!  We can not act like there's nothing that can be done.  We must implement gun safety policies.

The US incarcerates more people per capita than any other nation.  We must end the biased and statistically disproportionate mass incarceration of black men.  

We must create police accountability and invest in non-armed mental health professionals to support in non-violent mental health crises. 

America is a country of immigrants and our strength lies in that diversity.  We must stand up to xenophobia and invest in more immigration judges and courts to speed up and streamline the process to help anyone who wants come build a better life.

From federally decriminalizing cannabis to treating addiction as a health crisis and treat people instead of filling prisons, We must change the way we view and treat drug abuse.

The US has sadly broken treaty after treaty with Native Nations across North America.  This includes allowing harmful oil pipeline construction through Native land.  We must reconcile with our past crimes against humanity, and stop abusing the lands and rights of all Native people.

Republican led efforts around the country to ban books are plain and simple, fascist.  This is a democracy built on the 1st Amendment, our prized freedom speech.  We must outlaw book bans to prevent local extremist takeovers of school boards that will cause generation harm in limiting access to education and forcing revisitionist history.
